Patient
A heading to provide details of the patient for whom the LR details are requested.
Used by: SimpleLRList

Indicates that the role is that of a patient.

  • Fixed value "PAT" Patient

The classCode is carried as an attribute of the Patient element.

[1..1] id (II)

The NHS number that identifies the patient.

NHS numbers are composed of ten numerics.

The root element identifies the  NHS patient numbering scheme represented by 

  • OID 2.16.840.1.113883.2.1.4.1 and
  • extension contains the actual identifier.
SimpleDetails
A heading to provide specific details of each of the component records in the List.

Indicates that this is Patient Care Provision.

Unique Identifier denoting the LR Record.

A Identifier code is carried in the following way:

  • The root attribute shall contain an OID with the value 2.16.840.1.113883.2.1.3.2.4.18.3  
  • the Extension attribute shall contain the LR record id.
[0..1] code (CV {CNE:LRCurrentStatus} )

A code for the legitimate relationship found.

The Coded with Code System datatype flavour is used to carry this information as follows:

  • The code attribute will contain a value from the list of codes in the LRCurrentStatus vocabulary.
  • An OID identifying the coding system from which the code is derived.

Example: 02 - 'inactive'

Date and Time at which the Legitimate Relationship achieved its current status.

This date is present unless the legitimate relationship is 'active'.

NOTE: Expired relationships are not returned at all.

A heading linking details of the parties involved in the LR record.

Indicates that the role is either the Health Care Professional or WorkGroup or other person of the record.

The typeCode is carried as an attribute of the subject element.

Link to details of persons involved in the LR.

Parties involved in the Legitimate Relationship.

Used by: SimpleDetails

Details of a person involved in the LR. This person is not identifiable by SDS.

This is only a placeholder for future use.

Full details of the workgroup are available from SDS. The identifier in the 'OrganizationSDS' entity is required in this instance. This denotes the Workgroup Identifier.

  • The root element identifies the SDS Workgroup scheme represented by OID 1.2.826.0.1285.0.2.0.109
  • the extension contains the actual identifier.

    •  The Optional AGENT Class Identifier and Code may be ignored in this instance.

    NPfIT CMET to identify a person fulfilling a specific role. Full details of the person and role profile are available from SDS.

    Both the Class of Agnt and PSN are required.

    The AGNT Cl ass consists of an SDS identifier that uniquely identifies the Role of the Person.   This is carried in the following way:

    • The root attribute shall contain an OID with the value 1.2.826.0.1285.0.2.0.67
    • the extension attribute shall contain the SDS Role Profile ID

    The PSN Class an SDS identifier that uniquely identifies the Person.   This is carried in the following way:

    • The root attribute shall contain an OID with the value 1.2.826.0.1285.0.2.0.65
    • the extension attribute shall contain the SDS User ID.

    In this context the person is the person involved in the LR with the patient.

    OtherPerson

    Details of Other Person (non SDS) involved in the LR.

    This is only a placeholder for future use.

    Indicates that the role is that of an agent.
