Response to Confirm if Legitimate Relationship exists for a list of Patient Identifiers that have been entered as query parameter items.

Indicates that this is a List.

• Fixed Value: "LIST"

The classCode is carried as an attribute of the ConfirmationList element.

Indicates that this is an Event.

• Fixed Value: "EVN"

The moodCode is carried as an attribute of the ConfirmationList element.

A business issue or error is defined as being one that is related to the information conveyed by the message evaluated in context by the processing application. 

Indicates that the act is an alert.

Indicates that this is an alert that has occurred.

This allows the responding system to record the business issue or error that has been detected.

All business issues and errors shall be reported using DetectedIssueEvent.code. The code shall contain a qualifier sub element to indicate the severity of the issue or error. 

The Coded Qualified datatype flavour shall be used to carry this information as follows:

• The code attribute is required and shall contain a value from one of the code systems identified under ActDetectedIssueCode
• The displayName attribute is optional and may contain the textual description of the code
• The codeSystem attribute is required and shall contain an OID as appropriate.
• The originalText sub element is optional and may contain the text used as the basis for the coding 
• The qualifier sub element is required and  shall contain one of the qualifier codes identified under DetectedIssueQualifier together with the appropriate OID.

This Act identifies the status of the Legitimate Relationship for a particular patient.

Indicates that this is an observation.

• Fixed value: "OBS"

Indicates that the control act mood is an event.

• Fixed value "EVN"

A value stating the existence or absence of an active Legitimate Relationship record.

The BL (Boolean) data type is designed to carry a 'True/False' status. Where it is essential that a value is carried, the field is set to Mandatory. Mandatory requires a value and may not carry 'Null Flavours' The BN datatype is a reserved HL7 internal datatype and must not be used.

The XML used to represent an attribute that is a Mandatory BL data type is identical to that used to represent a BN.

The false value does not denote a failed message. It means that there are no current LRs for this patient.

Indicates that the role is that of a patient.

• Fixed value "PAT" Patient

The NHS number that identifies the patient.

NHS numbers are composed of ten numerics.

• The root element identifies the  NHS patient numbering scheme represented by OID 2.16.840.1.113883.2.1.4.1
• the extension contains the actual identifier.
