This vocabulary is used to convey the interpretation of an observation result. It serves a number of purposes in that there are three contained subsets, a value from each of which may be used to populate the same multi-value field.

ObsInterpretationChangeSnCT
- Interprets the result in terms of the significance if its increase/decrease compared to the quoted Change Value. At most one value allowed. Change of quantity and/or severity.

ObsInterpretationNormalitySnCT
- Interprets the result against the quoted Reference or Therapeutic range. At most one value allowed. Interpretation in comparison with the quoted Interpretation Range.

ObsInterpretationSusceptibilitySnCT
- Interprets the Susceptibility of an organism to a specified antibiotic. At most one value allowed. Microbiology: interpretations of microbial susceptibility. This may be based on MIC/MBC/Breakpoint values.
