Description

This vocabulary is used to convey the interpretation of an observation result. It serves a number of purposes in that there are three contained subsets, a value from each of which may be used to populate the same multi-value field.

ObsInterpretationChangeSnCT
Interprets the result in terms of the significance if its increase/decrease compared to the quoted Change Value. At most one value allowed. Change of quantity and/or severity.
ObsInterpretationNormalitySnCT
Interprets the result against the quoted Reference or Therapeutic range. At most one value allowed. Interpretation in comparison with the quoted Interpretation Range.
ObsInterpretationSusceptibilitySnCT
Interprets the Susceptibility of an organism to a specified antibiotic. At most one value allowed. Microbiology: interpretations of microbial susceptibility. This may be based on MIC/MBC/Breakpoint values.
