Web Service
This document defines the requirements for Web Service Standards, Addressing and Security aspects. Essentially, this service is implemented as SOAP over http. The Distribution Envelope goes within the SOAP Body. Most of the ITK Standards are derived from W3C definitions.
The details of Elements and Attributes of the the SOAP Header and Body is defined here. The use cases of various Messaging Configurations are also depicted.
